Its nice to eventually be able to put a voice behind The Transport Lens. A nice strong Geordie accent as well. They are a good sort, in general the Geordies and people generally from the Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Washington, Sunderland, Durham, Darlington, Middlesborough, Hexham, Alnmouth and Morpeth areas.

The preserved aerial platform [ERF - T277 UON] is impressive, well done to those who have worked so hard to keep it in incredible nick!

Fabulous to see a vintage GPO Telephones van preserved, wouldn't be surprised though if it's the only one!

Looks like any of Arriva's fleet in the oldest livery could be on the verge of withdrawal but, with I-Squared having recently bought over Arriva from Deutsche Bank, it should mean that a tonne of investment will soon be on its way. The deal to purchase Arriva is expected to be complete in 2024.
